Wild Iris Medical Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Washington State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (CEARP #PA-54).
This accreditation is accepted by licensing agencies in all 50 states.
Wild Iris is also approved as an educational provider by the District of Columbia Board of Nursing.
Wild Iris Medical Education is approved as a provider of continuing education for RNs, LVNs, and respiratory therapists by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CBRN Provider #12300).

Can I obtain a license taking your courses?
No. Our courses are for health professionals who currently have a license and need continuing education courses in order to renew their license, or who are seeking a new license in another state.
Are your courses approved for all types of nursing licenses?
Yes. Our courses are applicable for RNs, LPN/LVNs, critical care nurses, nurse practitioners, and advanced practice nurses in all 50 states.

I don't have my license yet. Can I take your courses?
Yes. All of our Certificates of Completion include accreditation and approval statements specific to the Wild Iris course you take, and the course may meet initial licensure requirements. Please check with your licensing agency to confirm acceptability if you are taking the course for this purpose.
Can I take your courses if I'm not a nurse?
Yes. Our courses are available to anyone, including students, caregivers, healthcare professionals of any designation, and the general public who are interested in the topics we offer.
How long do your courses take to finish?
Nursing courses are designed to take 60 minutes per contact hour to complete.
After you have passed the test, registering for your certificate typically takes about 10 minutes.
What are the mandatory topics and CE requirements for nurses with a Florida license?
According to the Florida Board of Nursing, all Florida-licensed RN's and LPNs are in a 24-month renewal cycle and must complete 24 hours of appropriate continuing education during each renewal period.

Do you report to CE Broker?
Yes. We automatically report the course completions of Florida license holders to the Florida Department of Health via the CE Broker system.
Please Note: It's important that you include your license prefix in front of your license number, ie, RN123456 (no spaces) in order for your course completion to be processed by CE Broker. If you are unsure of your license number, go to the Florida Department of Health License Verification website.
